Our Expertise

The focus of Miller Thomson’s employment law practitioners in the human rights area is to provide strategies and advice to ensure compliance and avoid costly complaints. The Labour Relations and Employment Law Group provides effective support both through client-specific and all-client seminars, and the development of policies and workplace discrimination and harassment prevention strategies.

In particular, members of our group provide practical and technical support for the investigation and resolution of formal or internal human rights complaints. Our lawyers have extensive experience in defending management against alleged breaches of the Human Rights Code.
