On July 1, 2026, North Shore Winter Club completed the acquisition of Spartan Sport Group Inc. and NSA North Shore Academy Ltd. through a share purchase transaction.
Spartan Sport Group Inc. and NSA North Shore Academy Ltd. provide youth hockey and athletic development programs that combine on-ice instruction, skills development, coaching and competitive hockey opportunities with educational programming designed to support the academic and personal development of young athletes.
Established in 1958, North Shore Winter Club is a leading family athletic and recreation club based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, serving members from across the Greater Vancouver area. The Club offers an extensive range of athletic, recreational and social programs, including nationally recognized hockey programming, aquatics, tennis, pickleball, fitness and youth activities. The acquisition expands the Club’s capabilities in youth hockey development and education and complements its longstanding commitment to inclusive athletics, family fitness and the development of young athletes.
