Power practices as a corporate commercial solicitor, focusing on mergers & acquisitions, financing, corporate reorganizations and general corporate and commercial matters. He has advised a diverse range of clients including in the real estate, tourism, retail, technology, health, mining and hospitality industries. Power strives to provide high quality advice tailored to the specific needs of each client and timely deliverables to meet the client’s goals.
Power provides pragmatic advice and counsel in a number of areas, including:
Mergers & Acquisitions: negotiating and closing share or asset purchase transactions, and drafting purchase agreements, security agreements and corporate transaction documents.
Financing: negotiating secured lending transactions, and reviewing and advising clients on security documents.
Corporate Reorganizations and Governance: facilitating corporate restructuring and amalgamations.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Power was practicing as an associate with a boutique corporate law firm in downtown Vancouver.
