Miller Thomson is pleased to welcome Danny Lang as a Partner in its Corporate Tax Group in the Toronto office.
Danny acts for public and private companies, as well as private equity funds, on domestic and cross-border transactions, reorganizations, financings, and inbound investment into Canada. His work includes acquisition structuring and strategic tax planning.
He also advises on the taxation of foreign investments by Canadian companies, including foreign affiliate considerations and FAPI. He works with clients across manufacturing, technology, financial services, energy and power sectors.
He has experience with infrastructure investments, including the tax structuring of project facilities and municipally-owned service corporations. Danny has written extensively on tax matters and has presented at the Canadian Tax Foundation, Tax Executives Institute and Law Society of Ontario.
