Overview
Ian Polisuk practices primarily in the areas of securities, corporate finance, M&A and commercial law. He acts for both private and publicly listed clients on a variety of transactions, including go-public transactions, public offerings, private placements of equity and debt securities, public and private M&A and general securities, corporate and commercial law matters. Ian also assists companies with compliance with securities regulations, stock exchange policies and environmental, social and governance matters.
Ian is a volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario and provides corporate legal advice to low-income individuals and small businesses. Ian also serves as an instructor of the Corporate Finance course at Windsor Law School.
Before joining the firm, Ian was a corporate securities associate at a mid-sized law firm in Toronto and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020.
