Overview
Brandon Meyer is building his business law practice, focusing on corporate law, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. He has experience working in a variety of areas including public and private acquisitions, debt and equity financings, public offerings, private placements, securities regulations, and gaming regulations.
Brandon was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020 after summering and articling at Miller Thomson LLP. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, graduating Cum Laude.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Brandon obtained an Honours, B.A. (double majoring in Political Science and Legal Studies) from the University of Waterloo, and M.A (specializing in Political Economy) from the University of Waterloo. Following the completion of his B.A. and M.A., Brandon worked for a global FinTech corporation in their Sydney, Australia office. He later returned to the same FinTech corporation to act as a legal counsel intern for a portion of his time at Ottawa Law.
