Rochelle Perera has joined Miller Thomson’s Waterloo Region office as a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate, M&A and Securities group, effective February 2, 2026.
Rochelle’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, franchising, venture capital, and corporate finance. She advises clients across a broad range of sectors, with particular emphasis on technology, cannabis, alcohol and gaming, franchise, health professionals, and commercial real estate.
She delivers clear, pragmatic advice to emerging and established companies on both transactional and day-to-day commercial matters. Known for responsive service and practical execution, she helps clients resolve complex, time-sensitive matters efficiently and in alignment with their business objectives.

Rochelle is actively engaged in Ontario’s innovation ecosystem and mentors tech startups in Toronto and Waterloo. She holds a BA from the University of Toronto and a JD from Bond University (Australia).
