On March 31, 2025, Commercial Switchgear Limited and Commercial Switchgear Service Inc., a group of leading Canadian electrical switchgear manufacturing and service companies based in the Toronto, Ontario area and providing full-service electrical design, engineering, supply, and support services, completed their sale to an affiliate of RESA Power, LLC, a market leader in power systems electrical testing, transformer services and life extension solutions for power distribution equipment.

Commercial Switchgear (“CSL”) has specialized in low voltage and medium voltage electrical power and control systems, as well as providing electrical field services, since 1978. With the CSL acquisition, RESA Power significantly enhances its engineering capability and adds expertise in the supply of low voltage and medium voltage power systems in Eastern Canada, as well as establishing a base from which to provide electrical field services throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
