Southbridge Health Care Acquires 21 Long-Term Care Homes from Revera

Counsel to Southbridge with respect to its acquisition of long-term care homes from Revera

On May 1, 2025, Southbridge Health Care (“Southbridge”) acquired 21 long-term care homes from Revera Long Term Care Inc. and its affiliates (“Revera”), marking one of the largest long-term care transactions in Ontario’s history.

Southbridge is a manager of long-term care homes, retirement and independent living communities across Ontario providing consistent, high-quality care for its residents. The acquisition brings Southbridge’s total portfolio to 56 homes with a combined resident capacity of approximately 6,100, positioning it as one of Canada’s leading owner-operators in the sector.
