Biography description

Raquel Moses is an associate in the Corporate, M&A, and Securities Group at Miller Thomson in Toronto. She advises public and private companies on a broad range of domestic and cross border transactions. Raquel’s M&A practice is centred on cross border deals, where she supports strategic buyers, sellers, private equity investors and founders across the full deal lifecycle. She also maintains an active capital markets practice, with experience advising both issuers and investment dealers on equity and debt financings, particularly in the mining and natural resources sector, a core component of Toronto’s capital markets landscape.

Raquel also advises on securities law, structured finance and derivatives matters, providing integrated guidance across financing and transactional contexts. Raquel co-authors the International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG) – Derivatives Laws and Regulations (Canada chapter) and writes on developments impacting financial markets and regulation.

She is actively engaged in pro bono work, supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses with their business law needs.
