Biography description

Sophie Ouahbi Garcia touches on all areas of labour and employment law in her practice. As such, she represents and advises employers of all sizes on varied matters related to workplace health and safety, disciplinary measures, unionization, and collective bargaining. An accredited mediator with the Barreau du Québec and an experienced investigator, she prioritizes prevention and amicable resolutions to disputes while protecting her clients’ interests.

A graduate of the political science and philosophy program at the Université Paris-Sorbonne and Sciences Po Paris, Sophie also holds a BCL and JD from McGill University. Throughout her studies in Montréal, she was involved in several charitable organizations, including Projet Innocence Québec and the Legal Information Clinic at McGill. A gifted writer, she contributed to the Gazette de droit de l’environnement at the Université Paris-Sorbonne and coordinated a group of rapporteurs within the environmental law section of the American Bar Association.
