Sean McGarry is a civil litigator who represents insurers, directors and officers, professionals, businesses and government entities in a diverse range of matters. He has represented clients at all stages of an action, including summary judgment, private arbitration, trial and appeal. Sean’s work has resulted in over a dozen reported decisions involving contested matters.
His litigation practice encompasses professional liability, commercial disputes, crown liability, class action defence, subrogated claims and product liability.
He regularly advises clients on insurance coverage disputes, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity and risk management in the insurance industry.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Sean practiced at a prominent litigation boutique specializing in class actions.
