Geoff Mason shares his thoughts on the feasibility of 4-day workweeks and what organizations should consider when implementing such an initiative:
Any company that wants to try it, the first thing I would say is to implement a pilot project because the results for 4-day workweeks have been mixed. In some cases, they’ve been great successes and other cases, they haven’t worked so I wouldn’t tell any organization to commit to it long term right off the bat but I think it’s in most companies’ interest to test the waters. […] Tied to that, … when you are starting a pilot program of a 4-day workweek, that has to be implemented in very specific way to allow an organization to revert back to a 5-day workweek if need be.
