On December 30, 2021, River Associates Investments, LP (“River Associates” or “River”) closed a complex, cross-border acquisition of Hoskin Scientific, Limited, a British Columbia-based distributor of essential test, measurement and monitoring equipment serving the environmental, geotechnical and processing markets throughout Canada with operations in four Canadian provinces.
River funded the transaction with equity from its seventh investment fund (River VII, L.P.). Financing was provided by the Bank of Montreal and PNC Mezzanine Capital.
River Associates is a lower-middle market private equity firm based in Chattanooga, TN.
