PomeGran Secures $172M to bring gigabit broadband to Northern Ontario

On June 24, 2024, PomeGran Inc., Canada’s fastest growing fibre-centric rural broadband provider, through its subsidiary ROCK Networks, was awarded a US$172 million Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) project aimed at delivering gigabit broadband connectivity to rural and Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario.
This included $97 million in federal and provincial government funding to build new fibre broadband infrastructure in rural and Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario.
