Miller Thomson advises Vital Infrastructure Property Trust on new $500 million unsecured credit facility

On September 1, 2026, Miller Thomson advised Vital Infrastructure Property Trust (“Vital Infrastructure”) in connection with its new $500 million senior unsecured corporate credit facility maturing in August 2031, which replaces Vital Infrastructure’s previous $370 million secured credit facility and provides the REIT with enhanced financial flexibility and an extended debt maturity profile to support its strategic growth priorities.

Vital Infrastructure (TSX: VITL.UN) provides investors with access to a diversified portfolio of 104 high-quality international healthcare real estate properties totaling 11.1 million square feet across North America, Brazil, Europe and Australia. At closing, the REIT’s unencumbered asset pool totaled $2.1 billion. The facility was arranged through a syndicate of three banks, with RBC Capital Markets acting as Administrative Agent and Sole Lead Arranger, and RBC Capital Markets, The Bank of Nova Scotia, and National Bank of Canada acting as Joint Bookrunners.
