Unimax Acquires Macpek’s RSSW Division

On April 30, 2025, Unimax, a national leader in the in distribution serving all customers in the passenger car and light truck tire sector, acquired Macpek’s RSSW division. This strategic transaction will enable Unimax to strengthen its position as a leader in tire distribution in Canada by adding complementary services to its customer offering.

Founded in 1991, RSSW is well known for its extensive inventory of alloy and steel wheels, and has distribution centres in Eastern and Western Canada that provide world-class customer service.

This transaction was led by Louis-Philippe Borduas and involved a team composed of  Josyane Ledoux, Andrea Kabbash, Chantal Joubert, Wendy P. S. Belisle, Alexandre Ajami, and Alessandra Pecoraro
