Biography description

Taylor Lanthier is an associate in Miller Thomson’s Advocacy Group, practising general commercial litigation with a focus on environmental and Indigenous law. She represents clients in a broad range of disputes and has appeared before the British Columbia Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Federal Court.

Taylor provides practical, strategic advice to clients navigating complex and contentious matters. Her approach to litigation emphasizes clarity, thorough preparation, and thoughtful advocacy, with a focus on achieving results aligned with her clients’ business and legal objectives. She strives to deliver thoughtful, client-focused, solution-oriented legal services grounded in integrity and practical problem-solving.

Taylor joined Miller Thomson as a summer student in 2022 and completed her articles with the firm in 2024. Before joining Miller Thomson, she developed advocacy skills while working at a criminal defence firm. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia’s Peter A. Allard School of Law, with a specialization in Indigenous Legal Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Criminology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
