Biography description
Shubhreen Dosanjh advises financial institutions, institutional lenders, corporate borrowers and other market participants on complex secured and unsecured lending transactions, with a particular focus on securitization and structured finance transactions. Her experience spans a range of structured credit and asset-backed products, including residential mortgage-backed securities, automotive and equipment finance, as well as other debt financing and credit structures.
Previously, Shubhreen was at a global credit rating agency, advising on private and public securitization transactions across a range of asset classes. She has also practised in the financial services group of another leading Canadian law firm, advising lenders and borrowers on complex financing transactions.
Shubhreen has been an active committee member of the Women in Securitization platform founded by the Structured Finance Association, where she supported initiatives focused on the advancement of women in the structured finance industry. She has also contributed to various diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives within the financial services industry.
