Biography description
Samuel Rousseau-Mascolo practises environmental and energy law, as well as civil, commercial, and administrative litigation. With a master’s degree in applied international law and politics, Samuel acquired significant experience in environmental protection, climate change, and renewable energy while working for a specialized agency within the United Nations. As such, he partook in climate negotiations on the implementation of the Paris Agreement at COP28 and COP29. He also participated in international negotiations to promote the use of alternative fuel sources in the civil aviation industry.
In 2018, while still in university, Samuel took part in the Concours international de Plaidoirie en droit public “Charles-Rousseau” at the Université d’Angers in France. During the same period, he was involved in Avocats sans frontières and sat on the Droit vert l’avenir committee of the Université de Sherbrooke’s Faculty of Law.
