Pat Forte examines client issues through the lens of risk. In her employment practice, she assists non-union employers in all aspects of the employment relationship with a view to mitigate organizational liability. Pat advises clients about employment matters pertinent to corporate transactions, and in areas of hiring, discipline, disability/leave of absence management, performance management, human rights, termination. In her insurance practice, Pat provides advocacy in the defence of disability, life, health and welfare benefit claims, as well as opinions about claims, regulatory compliance and policy interpretation, and drafting policy wording, ASO and service agreements.

Pat’s impressive background includes memberships in prominent legal and risk management organizations, and recognition in publications such as The Best Lawyers in Canada. With experience in courtrooms, boardrooms, and training, Pat’s client-centered approach results in tailored strategies to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring personalized, effective representation. Her innovative thinking and adaptability allow her to navigate complex legal challenges, while her commitment to delivering exceptional service builds lasting relationships with her clients.

Through her Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, Pat offers legal risk audits, risk management planning, training, and education. Pat leverages her knowledge of the law and emerging legal issues to help clients to safeguard against individual and business risks, losses, and hazards.
