Kurt is widely recognized nationally for his work in entertainment law and intellectual property, representing high-profile entertainers, film companies, video game companies, influencers, recording artists, songwriters, music producers, record labels, managers, publishing companies and a wide range of stakeholders and creatives in the music, film and gaming industries. Called to the bar in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Ontario, Kurt maintains a national practice advising clients across Canada and internationally on complex entertainment, intellectual property and commercial matters.

With a unique background as a touring musician, entrepreneur, keynote speaker and board member, Kurt combines legal insight with real-world industry experience. As a chart-topping musician who toured internationally for more than two decades, he understands the legal and practical realities facing artists, creators and entertainment companies at every stage of their careers and businesses.
