John Israel Galambos is a partner in Private Client Services at Miller Thomson’s Montréal office. He focuses his practice on corporate and individual taxation, tax and estate planning, wills and trusts, corporate reorganizations, and asset protection. He regularly advises clients on a broad range of tax matters, including asset and share transactions, shareholders’ agreements, and employee stock option plans. John is also frequently sought after to help resolve estate and shareholder disputes, bringing both technical precision and practical judgment to complex situations. His clients include high-net-worth individuals, private companies, single and multi-family offices, public institutions, private foundations, charities, and not-for-profit organizations.
With over 20 years of experience at national and regional law firms, John Israel Galambos is recognized for delivering practical, strategic solutions to complex tax and estate planning challenges. Before joining Miller Thomson, John served as Co-Leader of the Family Office division (Quebec) at a Big Four accounting firm, where he advised high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and wealth advisors on sophisticated tax and succession planning matters.
