Biography description
Graham King focuses on complex domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate/commercial matters and joint ventures. Recognized as a leading Canadian business lawyer, Graham has extensive experience advising domestic and international companies, investment funds, family offices and investors conducting or establishing business operations in Canada across a broad range of industries. As a trusted advisor, he provides practical, strategic and solutions-based counsel to vendors, purchasers, corporate directors and boards, shareholders and other business stakeholders.
He has been widely published in academic journals, print and electronic media on topics relating to corporate, governance, fiduciary and business law. Graham has also served as a director or governor of business corporations, not-for-profit entities and charitable foundations, and was an adjunct professor at Western University’s Faculty of Law.
Earlier in his career, Graham was part of the Corporate and Investment Banking Group at one of Canada’s largest investment dealers and held senior positions in the investment management industry. He has also been recognized for his mentorship and development of students and associates within the legal profession.
