Enzo Di Iorio

Biography description

Enzo Di Iorio is the Chair of Miller Thomson. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous national leadership positions including Managing Partner of the Vaughan office and member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. As Chair, he drives the Firm’s strategic direction and market presence, with a strong focus on innovation, growth and client success. 

Enzo has a varied and diverse practice as a trusted advisor to many of his Canadian and international clients who call on him to provide general counsel and strategic advice for all aspects of their business from handling litigation and risk avoidance issues, to managing M&A, commercial and real estate transactions to assisting with financings, governance and shareholder issues, corporate reorganizations, private client and estate and tax planning. Enzo’s experience acting as his clients’ outside “in-house counsel” has allowed him to develop a pragmatic business approach to solving problems for his clients without any hint of indecisiveness. 

Over the years, Enzo’s professional experience has evolved. He has successfully appeared at all levels of court in Ontario dealing with all facets of complex, commercial and construction litigation having been recognized in various publications for his high-profile work. At the same time, Enzo’s business law practice has enabled him to regularly manage and oversee large portfolio transactions in various sectors and industries including automotive, long-term care and real estate/construction. 

Enzo’s involvement in various community outreach initiatives showcase his commitment beyond the legal realm. He supports many philanthropic ventures and is a respected figure in his community embodying a well-rounded and socially conscious approach to his profession.
