Minus Global acquires Perth Environmental

On September 5, 2025, Minus Global Holdings Inc. (also known as Minus Waste Solutions), a Canadian leader in food waste recycling services, completed the acquisition of Perth Environmental Inc., Perth Commodities Inc. and Organic Waste Management Inc., a group of related businesses located in Southern Ontario. The newly-acquired companies will operate under the name Perth Environmental, a well-established regional provider of waste and recycling solutions.
The acquisition expands Minus Global’s service footprint across Southern Ontario and enhances its capacity to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions to businesses, municipalities, and institutions.
The transaction was supported by a strategic growth equity investment from the Canadian Business Growth Fund (CBGF), along with additional co-investments from other key investors. This collaboration will further support Minus Global’s mission to transform food waste into valuable resources while expanding its footprint across Canada and internationally. The investment will help accelerate Minus Global’s plans to scale operations, enhance its technology platforms, and pursue strategic acquisitions in the waste management sector.
