Counsel to Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. with respect to the acquisition of a diverse portfolio of 22 retail properties and two office assets spanning over one million square feet across Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec
Miller Thomson LLP represented Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. in the acquisition of a portfolio consisting of 22 retail properties and 2 office assets. The transaction involved the purchase of more than one million square feet of income-producing retail and office assets across Ontario, Manitoba and Quebec. The retail component consisted of 22 fully leased properties, including 15 single‑tenant sites and seven grocery and pharmacy anchored centres. The acquisition also included 2 office assets, including a Class A office tower at 145 Wellington Street West in Toronto’s financial core and a fully leased 75,000 square‑foot single‑tenant office building in Markham, Ontario. Crestpoint acquired a 100 percent interest in the entire portfolio through its closed‑end Crestpoint Opportunistic Real Estate Strategy.
