Biography description
Kiana Salehian-Zanjani holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Montréal and a Bachelor of Psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor in common law at the University of Montréal while completing her training at the Bar School in order to receive her licence to practise.
While studying law, she was an active member of the University of Montréal Comité Femmes et droit, whose mission is to promote intersectional feminism in a legal environment. She served as Vice-President, Communications and then became President. She also worked as a Case Manager at the McGill Legal Information Clinic, where she polished her legal research skills across a range of civil law matters.
