Biography description

Nadia Narain advises private and publicly-listed companies across a wide variety of sectors on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, and general corporate and commercial matters. She also advises publicly-listed companies and their boards on continuous disclosure requirements and ongoing public company maintenance. Additionally, Nadia provides guidance to a wide array of companies on corporate governance matters, including environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations and emerging regulatory developments affecting disclosure, board oversight, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Nadia brings a collaborative approach to each transaction, and builds long-lasting relationships with clients by providing practical, timely, and efficient solutions to help advance their business goals.

Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Nadia held various roles in private practice. She has also worked in-house as Associate Counsel at a publicly-traded precious metals mining company, giving her a practical and nuanced understanding of clients’ operational realities and business needs, particularly in the mining industry.

Nadia volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario by providing advice to charities, non-profits, small businesses, and individuals on the Pro Bono Ontario Free Legal Advice Hotline on various corporate and non-profit matters.
