Stickney acquires Layer Assets of Stickney Poultry Farms

On October 17, 2025, Anne Marie Stickney completed her purchase of the egg layer quota, assets and related property of Stickney Poultry Farms, a family-owned agricultural business, from MNP Ltd., the court-appointed receiver. Ms. Stickney’s en bloc offer to purchase (with a related party bidder for other assets) was selected by the Receiver as the winning bid through a competitive court-approved sale process.  The transaction was approved by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.  

Miller Thomson advised the purchaser with a team led by Craig Mills and Sam Massie and comprised of Harrison Fox (Restructuring), Jessica Penley (Real Estate), Ron Choudhury (Tax) and Penny Rosu-Myles (Real Estate Clerk).
