Biography description
Patrick Corney is a Partner in Miller Thomson’s Restructuring & Insolvency group, where he specializes in restructuring strategy and commercial disputes. His practice focuses primarily on representing senior creditors and court officers. An experienced advocate, Patrick frequently appears as lead counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List).
A recognized thought leader, Patrick serves as Chair of The Advocates’ Society Insolvency Litigation Practice Group. He is published in leading industry journals, including the Journal of the Insolvency Institute of Canada, the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Review, and the Commercial Insolvency Reporter.
