Nina Mei Norvik

Biography description

As a member of Miller Thomson’s Business Law group, Nina Mei’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and commercial law. She participates in complex transactions, such as share or asset acquisitions and corporate reorganizations, and in the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts.

Before joining Miller Thomson, Nina Mei also contributed to initial public offerings and private placements. Her multidisciplinary background enables her to provide structured support tailored to complex, evolving issues.

Nina Mei’s academic background was enriched by international experiences, such as a summer program in environmental law in Costa Rica through the University of Montréal Faculty of Law. This program deepened her understanding of sustainable development and environmental regulation issues.

She also participated in a student exchange at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, focused on intellectual property law in an international context, further broadening her legal perspective and understanding of cross-border issues.
