Biography description
Natasha’s practice focuses on corporate commercial litigation and corporate restructuring. Natasha’s litigation practice involves all areas of commercial dispute resolution. She has significant litigation and arbitration experience in a wide range of areas, including construction, energy, complex contractual disputes and real property. Natasha also acts for lenders, debtors and restructuring professionals, including trustees, monitors and receivers. She has experience in insolvency proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) and court-appointed receiverships. Natasha has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Alberta.
Natasha is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation and The Advocates’ Society. Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Natasha practiced commercial litigation and restructuring at a major national firm in Calgary.
Natasha participates in the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Program and the King’s Bench Amicus Program at the Calgary Courts Centre, where she provides pro bono legal advice to unrepresented litigants.
