Laurence Simard

Biography description

Laurence centres her practice around environmental law. Passionate about the law, she enjoys resolving complex litigation issues and participating in major cases, whether in arbitration or before judicial and administrative tribunals.

Laurence’s diligence, her attention to detail, as well as her ability to analyze copious documentation and conduct in-depth research allow her develop creative strategies tailored to the complex needs of her clients.

Laurence holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université du Québec à Montréal, where she studied environmental and Indigenous law, as well as Québec and Canadian politics. Before joining Miller Thomson, she had started out her career at a boutique law firm specialized in environmental law.
