Biography description
Kimberly is committed to fostering positive and trusting client relationships while providing practical and business-minded advice. Her practice focuses on advising and representing private and public sector employers in all areas of workplace law.
Kimberly is a fifth-year associate who has practised exclusively in labour and employment law since joining the profession as a second-year summer student. She summered, articled and practised as an associate at a leading management-side labour and employment boutique before transitioning to another firm. While maintaining an employment litigation practice for both employers and employees, she further developed her experience in workplace investigations, including conducting investigations for private and public sector employers. Her current practice focuses on employment, labour and corporate transactional (deal) work.
Kimberly has advised clients on a broad range of workplace law matters, including human rights, grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, wrongful dismissal, employment standards, employment agreements, workplace policies and workplace investigations.
Prior to law school, Kimberly earned a degree in Sport Management from Brock University. She later obtained her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
Kimberly is actively involved in student recruitment and has participated in on-campus interviews (OCIs) and in-firm interviews. She also serves as an associate mentor to summer and articling students.
