Cody Foggin

Biography description

Cody practices corporate and securities law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and emerging technologies. He routinely advises clients across a range of industries on public and private securities offerings, stock exchange listings, initial public offerings and private equity and venture capital transactions. Cody is an integral member of the team focusing in blockchain, cryptocurrency and smart contracts. He provides strategic legal counsel to national and international clients in the blockchain and crypto space on securities law and regulatory matters, listings on crypto asset trading platforms and other digital asset transactions.

Cody earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2020 and was called to the bar in 2021. While completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta, Cody studied international business law for one semester abroad at Queen’s University Belfast.
