Cody Foggin

Biography description

Cody is a corporate and securities lawyer and a member of Miller Thomson’s business law group. Cody maintains a broad practice where he advises clients across a range of industries on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, governance, and general business law matters. Cody also advises First Nation governments, economic development organizations and Indigenous-owned businesses on matters related to economic development and industry partnerships. He is also a member of the Firm’s growing blockchain and emerging technologies team, adivising clients on corporate and securities issues relating to digital assets and cryptocurrencies.

Cody earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2020 and was called to the Bar in 2021. During his legal studies, he completed a semester abroad at Queen’s University Belfast, where he studied international business law.
