Wendy P.S. Belisle is developing a broad commercial real estate practice providing advice on acquisition and disposition of all types of real property, commercial leasing, financing and secured lending.
Before obtaining a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor at the University of Montreal, Wendy received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern studies and Anthropology from McGill University. She also studied Arabic at the Lebanese American University of Beirut.
Wendy has worked in various countries in organizations of the private and public sectors as well as in non-profit organizations. While studying, she represented the Litigation committee of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers and acted as a research assistant for two professors. She was also involved in special projects in collaboration with Oxfam-Québec management team.
She volunteered for the UNHCR, Action Réfugiés Montréal, the Sauvé Foundation and the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
In her spare time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, reading, swimming and snowboarding.
