Overview

Patrick Corney is a Partner in the Restructuring & Insolvency group at Miller Thomson LLP. Pat has significant experience in Canadian and cross-border corporate insolvency matters, including in some of the largest and most complex restructurings in Canada. Pat acts for debtor corporations, monitors, trustees, liquidators, receivers, government regulators, secured and unsecured creditors, and purchasers of distressed assets. Pat has worked with clients from a wide range of industries, including steel, technology, retail, cannabis, and energy.

Pat began his legal career as a summer student at a Seven Sisters firm and practiced there for six years. Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Pat was a partner at a Toronto-based restructuring and insolvency boutique.
