The corporate and general business law practice of Louis-Philippe Borduas focuses specifically on mergers, acquisitions and corporate financing.
Louis-Philippe handles all legal aspects of financial or commercial transactions, such as mergers or acquisitions (sale and purchase of shares or assets). He provides legal advice to lenders as well as borrowers. His involvement in transactional and financial matters includes due diligence, drafting and negotiation of master or collateral agreements or other closing documents.
While completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA), Louis-Philippe completed an internship in an engineering consulting firm, working closely with the finance and administration departments, as well as an internship as internal auditor in the corporate audit group of a major Quebec player in the aircraft industry. In these positions, he had the opportunity to use business administration concepts while perfecting his corporate knowledge and expertise, more specifically in the area of risk management. While working for another national firm, Louis-Philippe benefited from in-house legal experience after being seconded to a leading international technology supplier of services, solutions, systems and power and automation products.
