Miller Thomson  acts as counsel to SRx Health Solutions Inc. (“SRx” or the “Company”) in connection with its application under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-36, as amended (the “CCAA”). As part of the proceedings, SRx sought and obtained court approval of an expedited sale process, which was essential to maintain uninterrupted access to patient health services. With the support of Miller Thomson and the court-appointed Monitor, Grant Thornton Limited, the Company successfully negotiated, finalized, and secured court approval of sale agreements for the majority of its pharmacies and clinics within ten (10) days of commencing the CCAA application.

SRx operated a chain of specialty pharmacy stores and clinics across Canada.  The Company owned and operated over forty (40) pharmacy and clinic locations, where specialty health services were provided to patients, including the administration of specialty medication at infusion clinics by nurses and/or physicians.

Miller Thomson continues to advise the Company in the CCAA process, including working with the secured lenders, various pharmacy regulatory bodies, landlords, and employees to advance the restructuring for the benefit of all of the Company’s stakeholders.
