In September 2022, Busbud BMO Impact Investment Fund, announced the completion of its Series D1 funding round from a group of investors that included BMO Impact Investment Fund.

The BMO Impact Investment Fund was created in 2019 in support of BMO’s commitment to a sustainable future. The objective of the Fund has been to find, invest in and scale technologies, products and solutions that drive measurable positive environmental impact in the areas of decarbonization, circular economy and sustainable food and agriculture.

Miller Thomson advised BMO Impact Investment Fund on the investment with a team led by Myron Mallia- Dare and comprised of Andrew Gunpat, Brandon Meyer (Corporate/M&A), Ron Choudhury (Tax), Amanda Fulton, Hayley Coulter (Paraprofessional), Jennifer Jeong and James Papeliou (Student).
