On August 12, 2025, 2690044 Ontario Inc., operating as Common Ground, an Ontario-based cannabis company, was placed under CCAA protection on the application of 1001180045 Ontario Inc. and Kanterra Science Inc., to whom it owes approximately $7.5 million and $1.6 million, respectively.

The Company employs approximately 50 full-time staff, 25 full-season part-time staff, and 100 seasonal part-time employees. It provides agricultural services and cultivates cannabis flowers across 50 acres of land in Melancthon, Ontario.
