Biography description
Mona Soliman is building a broad commercial litigation practice, with a focus on corporate, contractual, and shareholder disputes. She has worked on a range of complex matters including motions, arbitrations, appeals, and administrative proceedings. Mona takes both a practical and analytical approach to disputes, with a focus on understanding client’s individual needs and goals as well as the broader commercial interests at stake
During her time in law school, Mona worked as a Research Assistance for Acting Dean Botterell and Assistant Dean (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization) Gurmukh on the “Hate Crimes Project” in collaboration with the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, developing an online tool to assist victims and law enforcement personnel in identifying whether a crime may be motivated by hate, bias or prejudice.
