Biography description
Matteo Loconte thrives in the fast-paced world of business law at Miller Thomson, where his practice covers all aspects of corporate and tax law, with a focus on corporate reorganizations, M&A transactions, and tax and estate planning. He regularly advises privately held corporations and their owners on complex transactions, governance matters, and long-term planning strategies.
As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Matteo combines his legal and financial backgrounds to deliver practical, results-driven advice. His prior experience in public accounting enables him to provide clients with a comprehensive approach that aligns both business and tax objectives.
Matteo is also committed to giving back to the community through his volunteer work with Civil Claims Duty Counsel and the Court of King’s Bench Amicus Program. Outside of the office, he enjoys travelling, golfing, and staying active through a variety of different sports.
