Biography description

Danielle Rafalson is a dedicated family lawyer who provides practical, compassionate, and results-driven representation during challenging periods of her clients’ lives. Her practice encompasses all areas of family law, including parenting time, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, property division, and domestic contracts. She represents clients in complex and high-conflict matters, including high-net-worth divorces, property and equalization disputes, and cases involving significant assets, business interests, and complex income issues.

Danielle is a compassionate and professional advocate who provides legal advice tailored to each client’s circumstances, priorities, and objectives. She takes the time at the outset of each engagement to gain a comprehensive understanding of her clients’ needs, allowing her to develop thoughtful and effective strategies for navigating the family law system.

She distinguishes herself through strong advocacy, careful legal analysis, and a practical, client-centered approach focused on achieving principled resolutions.

Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Danielle practiced at a boutique family law firm in Toronto, where she represented clients in high conflict family law disputes and worked on leading family law cases.

Danielle is actively involved in the legal community through her memberships with the Toronto Lawyers’ Association, Canadian Bar Association, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and Toronto Jewish Lawyers Association. Her involvement reflects her commitment to professional development, collaboration, and contributing to the broader family law and legal community.
