Biography description
Ardita is a commercial litigator with a practice that focuses on complex contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, and securities litigation. She also has experience with insurance defence, employment, and administrative law matters. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court, and the Commercial List.
Before joining Miller Thomson, Ardita practised at a Toronto litigation boutique, where she handled a wide range of complex matters and advised both individual and institutional clients.
Ardita earned her JD from Western University, where she was involved in student leadership, wellness initiatives, and advocacy competitions. During the pandemic, she volunteered with the National Canadian Lawyers’ Initiative, a Canada‑wide pro bono project connecting individuals and small businesses affected by COVID‑19 with free legal support.
