Social Impact group lead Susan Manwaring was invited by the Senate to appear before the Senate Special Committee on the Charitable Sector to present on the impact of federal and provincial laws and policies governing charities, nonprofit organizations, foundations, and other similar groups; and to examine the impact of the voluntary sector in Canada on December 10th. Robert Hayhoe presented the same on December 3rd, 2018.

Karima Kanani and Kathryn Frelick presented “Digital Health: A Legal Perspective” at the Sweden-Canada Digital Health Initiative Conference in Toronto, ON on December 5, 2018.

Karima Kanani presented a webinar entitled “The Anatomy of a Contract: A Risk Management Perspective”, in Coffee Talk, A Miller Thomson Health Industry Seminar Series in Toronto, ON on December 5, 2018.

Robert Hayhoe and Jordyn Allan co-wrote “Tax Credit Reduction for Gifted Cultural Property?” published in Canadian Tax Highlights | November 2018 issue.
