Robin has been developing her expertise as an estates professional since the start of her legal career. She works collaboratively with financial and tax advisors in order to help her clients with comprehensive and complex estate planning. In estate administration matters, Robin takes an approach that is both empathetic and efficient, with a view ensuring the process goes as smoothly as possible for her clients.
Robin provides pragmatic advice and direction in a number of areas:
Estate Planning: wills, powers of attorney, trusts, probate planning strategies.
Estate Administration: interpretation of wills, guidance regarding Estate Trustee duties, preparation of Applications for a Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee (probate).
Robin is currently pursuing her Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from STEP Canada.
Robin started her legal career at a mid-sized firm in the Waterloo Region, where she was an articling student and an associate.
