Healthcare providers have and continue to face harassment and sometimes violence from patients and clients when delivering care. There is a growing recognition and appreciation of the importance of psychological health and safety in the workplace.

  • What are an employer’s health and safety requirements?
  • What entitlements exist under workplace safety and insurance legislation?
  • And how have adjudicators grappled with these issues?
