Biography description
Tyler holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal. In his final year of law school, he completed a judicial internship with the Honourable Shaun E. Finn, J.S.C. at the Superior Court of Québec, Montréal division. During this internship, Tyler conducted legal research and accompanied Justice Finn at hearings across a wide variety of cases sparking a strong interest in various areas of litigation.
Prior to studying law, Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McGill University. While at McGill, he co-authored a peer-reviewed study examining how sports and physical activities can be made more inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community.
A former hockey player, Tyler began coaching at a young age and has since gained experience coaching U15 AAA and U18 Division 1 teams. During the 2025-26 season, he served as an assistant coach for the U18 Division 1 team at Lucille-Teasdale High School.
